Refund Policy
Last updated: June 19, 2026
This policy describes the general refund and cancellation rules of Génbia SpA for services contracted through Genbia.com or via commercial proposal. A signed contract or quote may establish specific conditions that prevail over this document.
1. Scope
Applies to:
- Web development plans published on genbia.com (Landing, Pro-Entrepreneur, Corporate, Premium, E-Commerce).
- Automation projects, custom software, mobile apps, CRM, and services quoted in writing.
- Does not apply to third-party licenses (Meta, external hosting, domains already registered in the client's name) once activated.
2. Web plans — payment terms
Published web plans are paid 50% at project start and 50% upon delivery and acceptance certificate, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
3. Advance payment before work begins
- If the client cancels before Genbia begins design, domain registration, or development work, a refund of the advance may be requested, deducting costs already incurred (for example, registered domain or documented discovery hours).
- Once agreed work in the scope has begun, the advance is non-refundable; the client may receive deliverables completed to the cancellation date, subject to proportional payment for work performed.
4. Custom projects (automation, SaaS, AI)
- Payment milestones are defined in the proposal or contract. There is no refund for milestones already executed and accepted or for which work was delivered according to scope.
- Cancellation by the client: work performed to date is invoiced plus non-recoverable costs agreed in the contract.
- Cancellation due to client delay (more than 15 business days without delivering inputs or approvals): Genbia may pause the project and invoice completed milestones.
5. Post-delivery warranty
Unless agreed in the contract, Genbia corrects implementation defects attributable to the agreed scope within 30 days of the acceptance certificate. The warranty does not cover scope changes, third-party failures (Meta, hosting providers), or misuse.
6. How to request a refund or review
Send an email to [email protected] with the subject "Refund request", indicating name, company, project, amount paid, and reason. We will respond within a maximum of ten (10) business days.
Approved refunds will be processed through the same payment method used, within a reasonable timeframe depending on the bank or processor.
7. Relationship with other policies
This policy complements the terms of service (https://genbia.com/terms-of-service). In case of conflict, the signed commercial contract between the parties prevails.
